Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the AI Dog Translator mobile application (the “App”), operated by Iterica B.V. (“Iterica”, “we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Apple Standard End User License Agreement
If you download the App from the Apple App Store, your use of the App is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). These Terms of Service apply in addition to, and do not replace, the Apple Standard EULA
1) The service
AI Dog Translator provides AI-generated interpretations of dog sounds, photos, and videos. The App is intended for entertainment and informational purposes only.
The App does not provide veterinary, medical, behavioral, or professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional for concerns about your dog’s health or behavior.
2) Use of the App
You agree to use the App lawfully and responsibly.
- You may only upload content you have the right to use.
- You must not upload illegal, abusive, or harmful content.
- You must not attempt to misuse, disrupt, or reverse engineer the App.
We may suspend or terminate access if the App is used in violation of these Terms.
3) User content
You retain ownership of any audio, photos, videos, or text you submit to the App (“User Content”).
By using the App, you grant Iterica a limited, non-exclusive, temporary license to process your User Content solely to provide the requested App functionality (for example, generating an AI interpretation).
Uploaded media is processed on a process-and-discard basis and is not stored on our servers.
4) AI-generated output
The App uses artificial intelligence to generate output. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, humorous, or unexpected.
You understand and agree that:
- Outputs are not guaranteed to be correct or meaningful.
- You use AI-generated content at your own risk.
- Iterica is not responsible for decisions made based on App output.
5) Subscriptions and purchases (if applicable)
Some features may require a subscription or in-app purchase. Payments are handled by the app store provider (e.g. Apple).
Subscription management, billing, renewals, and refunds are subject to the app store’s terms and policies.
6) Intellectual property
The App, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Iterica B.V. and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App except as permitted by law.
7) Availability and changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or parts of it) at any time, with or without notice.
We do not guarantee that the App will always be available or error-free.
8) Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iterica disclaims all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
9) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iterica B.V. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to use the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10) Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
11) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
